Edit 3/1/24- this was mostly wrong, but that’s ok, I still had fun. Got 1 of 2 SB participants right tho! Congrats to the Chiefs. Champs stay champs

AFC

Sorry MIA, I love you, but KC all the way. Champs stay champs, especially at home. Man this is gonna be rough for you. Instead of a balmy 65 in Miami, your loss against BUF sends you to KC, where it’ll be in the 10s! yikes. Game will be close, b/c of the weather, but KC will control the whole way

BUF over PIT. Bravo to PIT for even making it this far, Tomlin is a damn good coach. PIT will give them a scare, but without Watt BUF is just too much. Setting up a juicy round 2 matchup against KC. Cant wait

And again, sorry HOU. Love you, and super proud of you for winning the division in Stroud’s first year. You’re going to be a problem for years to come with that coach/QB combo. But, the road ends here. CLE’s D is just too good and will overwhelm the young QB. This sets up a bloodbath 2nd round with BAL, divisional battle in the playoffs?! Always nasty. Im here for it

NFC

DAL and GB…man seems like these two are in the playoffs every year, and choke every year. Usually, it’s to the hands of the 9ers, but they get a classic matchup with each other. DAL has crushed teams at home, and that continues. They win by 2 TDs, and the hype train gets going for DAL fans…

Man, poor Lions. I mean, good for them, I’m pumped for them that they ended their streak of non-playoff streak and won their division, but this is a tough matchup. The Rams with McVay, Stafford, Donold, and Kupp are a team no one wants to see in the playoffs. I want the Lions to win, but I think McVay proves again why he was the wonderkid…Rams win on a last second field goal to crush the hearts of Lions fans everywhere

Philly and the Bucs. Man, I love to see the below average division winner take on the presumptive favorite, a team that most people had already written into the SuperBowl halfway through the year. Have the wheels already completely fallen off for Philly? I think so. Im getting shades of that Saints-Seahawks 2011 game when Beast Mode went full Beast mode, and the below-.500 division winner Seahawks beat the 11–6 Saints at home. Bucs win this one, causing full chaos in Philly.

AFC Round two

Chiefs — BUF, AT BUFFALO. Is this the year the Bills get the monkey off their back? I’m really tempted to put KC here, but BUF has been rolling recently. The change to Joe Brady at OC has revitalized the BUF offense, and Cook has been, well, Cookin’. Buf wins this one (snow game??) in a brutally close one

CLE — BAL. man, of all matchups, this is probably the worst for the Ravens. A division rival who knows them inside and out, and a CLE defense that is awesome. Does the Flacco magic continue? That Ravens D is pretty nasty too… this is a toss up. The last real Ravens regular season loss this year (not counting the Steelers week18 practice squad matchup) was to…. The BROWNS. At BAL… Lamar was flustered that day, only going 13–23 for 223, 1 TD and TWO INTs. I’m going for the upset here. CLE wins on a last second FG to clinch it.

NFC round two

9ers — Rams — rematch of week 18, and another late round playoff battle for these two, shades of a few years ago. The 9ers, well rested and at full strength, take care of business at home. The 9ers lost by 1 with their backups playing in week 18 after all… the Rams just don’t have the firepower to keep up with this 9ers squad this time around. 9ers by 10.

Cowboys — Bucs. Another home game for the Boys against an inferior team. ‘Boys roll the Bucs, like they’ve done at home all year. Hype train is more like a hype-nuclear-rocket-ship heading into the NFC champtionship against their age-old rivals… NFL is jizzing themselves at this matchup

AFC Championship

Bills — CLE. CLE’s luck runs out. Bills are on too much of a roll, and while their D has carried them all year, CLE cant quite scheem up enough stops against wild-card, push-all-the-buttons, Josh Allen. Bills Mafia goes crazy! They’ve made it through the AFC gauntlet, only to face…

NFC Championship

9ers — Boys. Man, I really hope this happens. The #1 vs the #2. The rivalry the launched the NFL into the stratosphere of sports. Have the Cowboys learned from their week 5 smackdown, and years of playoff failures? Of course not! They go into the game thinking they are on top of the world after 2 smackdowns at home, only to get their teeth kicked in on both sides of the ball by a world-beating 9ers team. Dak is running for his life all day, CMC runs all over the Girls to the tune of 2 rushing TDs and a receiving TD, and the 9ers take care of business

SuperBowl

9ers — Bills, in Las Vegas. Fred Warner v Josh Allen. Purdy against those nasty Bills safeties. Stefon Diggs will go for like 120, but it wont be enough. This is the 9ers year, esp. with the Ravens not making it. 9ers win a battle of a game, to take home their 6th. In Purdy we trust. Shanahan gets the monkey off HIS back, and finally wins it all.
